Learning to be a good friend

This week in PSHE all we needed was a tube of toothpaste!

The children were asked to squeeze out all the toothpaste from the tube until their was nothing left. We found it was quite easy!

Then we realised we had made a bit of a mess so we tried to get it back into the tube. This was not so easy… So in the end we had to wash it up in the sink. We could still smell the mint though!

But why are we doing this? The important message is that when you say something to someone, you can’t take it back. You can wash it away by saying sorry but the feeling is still there.
