Well done Year 4 on a great term! We all enjoyed an afternoon in the forest as a treat for all their hard work.
Our science topic this half term is electricity and Year 4 were lucky enough to be visited by a real electrician! They learnt how important it is to be safe areound electricity and were able to see different types of wires that electricians work with. The children had so many questions!
The children made circuits and learnt to add different components. We observed what happened when an extra bulb was added and suggested reasons for this. The children used scientific vocabulary to explain why a circuit was or wasn’t working.
The children investigated electrical conductors and insulators and made predictions.
Thank you very much Mr Williams for coming in. The children learnt so much and we all had a fantastic day!
A huge well done to everyone who came to Watford School of Music this evening! It was wonderful to see the children show off their musical skills. We are so proud of them all!
Some lucky children even got to conduct the brass band!
